GoG Nature Center summer presentations begin
The Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center will offer 14 free, nature-related presentations on varying weekdays through August.
Presented by volunteers as well as park interpreter Bret Tennis, the subjects will be honey ants and wildlife preservation (Tennis), as well as participatory endeavors to look at geology in the park or learn effective ways to photograph it.
The other presenters will be Jay Temple and Beverly Cellini (geology) and Paul deBerjeois (photography).
Weekly participation activities are the following: bat walks (starting June 12), prairie falcon watch and a “wellness walk.”
Reservations are required for the presentations and the bat walks at 219-0108.
The Visitor & Nature Center is at 1805 N.30th St.
