Bicycle Carnival May 31 at Bear Creek Park

       An event titled “The Great Bicycle Carnival” is scheduled Saturday, May 31 at Bear Creek Regional Park.
       Sponsored by the nonprofit Kids on Bikes organization, the event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. will feature a variety of cycle-related activities, diversions for children, live music and a beer garden.
       Admission cost is $10 a person for the carnival alone, with additional fees for those who want to compete in one or more riding challenges. Promotional information shows the carnival's price range as “$10-$40.”
       The meeting place is the east side of 21st Street, in the area of the El Paso County Parks offices, 2002 Creek Crossing.
