COSMIX ‘open house’ scheduled May 26

An informational open house on the COSMIX I-25 project will be Thursday, May 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fellowship Bible
Church, 5590 North Nevada Ave.
Representatives from the project team (CDOT and the contractor, Rockrimmon Constructors) will be present with displays to answer questions. COSMIX, short for the Colorado Springs Metro Interstate Expansion, is the largest highway improvement project in Colorado Springs' history. The project will widen I-25 to three lanes in each direction along 12-plus miles from south of the Bijou Interchange to just south of North Academy Boulevard.
