Paleontologist pledges revelation on century-old GoG dinosaur discovery

The Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center promises a dinosaur-research announcement “of colossal proportions” Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m.
“Dr. Kenneth Carpenter, curator of lower vertebrate paleontology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, has discovered something entirely new - and quite remarkable - about a find made at the Garden of the Gods more than 100 years ago,” according to a press release from the center and museum.
The center is at 1805 North 30th St.
Although no details have been released, the release states the event will involve an “unveiling of groundbreaking dinosaur research and a new exhibit at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center.”
The release continues that “Dr. Carpenter is known throughout the scientific community for his work in re-examining dinosaur fossils using the latest forensic technology to correctly identify the fossils by period and species.”
