Archery school offers free chance to try the sport June 2 at Bear Creek Regional Park

May 23, 2018
If you ever thought of trying archery, there will be a free opportunity in Bear Creek Regional Park Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“USA-certified archery coaches from the Archery School of the Rockies will walk you through the basics and test your skills; all equipment is provided,” states a press release from Theresa Odello, recreation coordinator for El Paso County Recreation & Cultural Services.
The county park's archery area is south of Argus Boulevard and west of 21st Street.
People can “drop in anytime” between 10 and 2, according to Odello. Participants, who must be age 6 or older, are advised to bring close-toed shoes, water and sunscreen and wear shirts that don't have long sleeves.
