Writer from Texas to sign copies of new book at Westside coffee house May 18

Author Mary Hurst will sign copies of her newly published book, “Digging for Daddy,” at Agia Sophia, 2902 W. Colorado Ave., Monday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The book describes a saga of several years after Hurst learned by chance that her father was not actually buried in the cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois, where it was though he had been laid to rest in 1966. This led to findings of similar situations with others who had presumably been buried there, she explained in a recent phone interview.
The 210-page book was written by Hurst, who lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her daughter, Lisa Lopez. It will be available in bookstores and online, Hurst said.
