‘Thanks for the memories’
I've enjoyed the paper so much this winter - all the articles about places so familiar to me on the Westside. My brother and I used to live in a cottage at the rear of the lot at 322 W. Bijou St.. The hotel swimming pool is just about where our house was located. The views of the removal of the Bijou viaduct brought back many memories.
The stories about Red Rock Canyon Park have all been very informative.
I worked as a docent at Bear Creek Nature Center in the '80s and '90s and always enjoy any mention of the center, also.
My brother and his wife still live on the Westside and gave us our subscription to the Pioneer as a much-appreciated gift.
       Thanks for the memories.
