Postage hike to take effect May 12

New U.S. and international postage prices will go into effect Monday, May 12. These include the cost to mail a U.S. First Class one-ounce letter, from 41 to 42
cents; and to mail a postcard, from 26 to 27 cents
Detailed information on the new U.S. and international postage rates are provided at www.usps.com/ prices. In a press release, the U.S. Postal Service blames increased operating costs for the increases, including escalating fuel, medical and transportation costs.
