Look for the RTA label
The Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (RTA) board members were not easily convinced that new vehicles should be
purchased with RTA money, but what made the vote go easier April 29 was the idea of putting the RTA logo on them.
They also want such trucks and cars to have a recognizable color… as long as there's no extra charge.
“We're looking in the color palette for blue,” said Sue Blumberg of City Public Communications, noting that this would match the RTA logo (developed this winter), which is yellow and blue.
However, she added, “We're trying to do this without making it a silly exercise. We just want something that makes vehicles apparent to the people in the community.”
