Dedication ceremony May 14 for new memorial structure at Bear Creek Dog Park

       The recently built memorial at El Paso County's Bear Creek Dog Park will be dedicated in a public ceremony at the site Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m.
       The event is planned by the volunteer Friends of Bear Creek Dog Park, which works with El Paso County Parks on improvements at the popular, free-access, 20- acre facility off 21st at Rio Grande streets.
       For a fee, people can order an aluminum plaque that will be attached to one of the memorial's three stone slabs.
