Tickets on sale for annual ‘Victorian Tea’

A program on Victorian life, homes and fashions will accompany catered, food during the sixth annual Victorian Tea Saturday, May 12 at the Old Colorado City History Center.
Tickets ($19 a person) are first-come, first-served for “A Walk Through Victorian Times,” presented by historian Margie Desmormeaux.
More seats are available than in past years (when the event often sold out) because this year's tea will have two showings - one at 12:30 p.m. and the other at 3 p.m.
The program is “an award-winning look at Victorian times,” according to a press relase from the Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS), a volunteer non- profit group that owns and operates the History Center.
The center is at 1 S. 24th St. Tickets can be purchased at the center or by phone. For more information, call 636-1225.
