Cleanup day at South Rampart Shooting Range

In conjunction with Earth Day, the Front Range Shooting Sports Partners (FRSSP) is organizing a clean-up day Saturday, April 25 at the South Rampart Shooting Range.
Volunteers will clean up spent shells and trash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a press release states.
The range is west of the Garden of the Gods in the Pike and San Isabel National Forest. The access road is FDR 300, Rampart Range Road, off Garden Drive near Balancing Rock.
"Keep it Safe, Keep it Clean, Keep it Open" is the name of the overall campaign by FRSSP, which consists of 18 public and private groups who signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2007 to provide "safe and sustainable recreational shooting opportunities" along the Front Range, the release states.
