Urgent-care center opens at Roundhouse

The Roundhouse Office of the Colorado Springs Health Partners (CSHP) has opened at 600 S. 21st St.
The roughly 11,000-square-foot location houses an urgent care clinic and the offices of two CSHP family-practice physicians - Drs. Julie Brady and William Malabre - who relocated from the medical building at 20th and Colorado.
The clinic will handle “immediate medical needs that are not life-threatening,” the CSHP website states. Its initial hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The phone is 635-5900.
The space CSHP is leasing is at the south end of the Roundhouse, a curving stone building that was initially constructed in 1887 as the repair facility for Midland Railway trains. CSHP has been renovating the site in recent months. It was previously the home of Carmichael Training Systems. This will be the second urgent-care center for CSHP, a physician-owned health business that started in Colorado Springs in 1946.
