OCCA reschedules Egg Hunt for April 11

Concerned about cold and blustery weather on the originally scheduled date of April 4, the Old Colorado City Associates (OCCA) merchants group has rescheduled its annual Easter Egg Hunt for Saturday, April 11 on the Bancroft Park lawns.
Two hunts for the younger children (ages 3 and under and 4-5) will take place simultaneously at 12:30 p.m., followed by a scavenger hunt through Old Town and then (around 1:30 p.m.) an egg hunt for ages 6-8.
Other activities, including face-painting, balloon-twisting and ice cream, will start up about an hour before the hunts.
“We hope to see all the little smiling faces next weekend,” reads a press release from the merchants group.
