New Westside/Manitou phone book out

The inaugural “Colorado Springs West Side 2007 Phone Book” was recently published and is being distributed in the area. Focusing primarily on the 80904, 80905 and 80829 zip codes, the book contains 312 pages in all (including white and yellow pages) and, at 7 inches wide by 10 ˝ inches high, is smaller in size than citywide phone books.
The publisher is the Denver-area Echo Pages, which started about three years ago and has similar books in 16 other Colorado locations.
In an interview with the Westside Pioneer last fall, Echo Pages co-owner Mike Sego said the idea with the smaller books is to “make life more convenient and help smaller businesses grow.”
The announced plan was to publish 17,000 Manitou/ Westside books.
