7th year for Coronado history students interviewing veterans

For the seventh year, students in U.S. history honors classes at Coronado High School will be participating in the Veterans History Project by interviewing local military veterans.
“The project is designed to honor American war veterans, along with civilian workers who supported them, by preserving stories of their service to our country,” a press release states.
The final product will be a student-produced video that will ultimately be sent to the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.
The Coronado history teacher is Jill Haffley.
The interviews this year will be conducted April 3 at an independent/assisted living community in the Cheyenne/Broadmoor area.
More information on the Veterans History Project may be found at http://loc.gov/vets.
