Visit from IB evaluator goes well at Midland, principal says

An International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) evaluation visit March 3 went well for Midland School, according to Principal Barbara Bishop.
She said she got feedback that the school is on the right track and should anticipate full authorization. The evaluator was from the IBO's U.S./Canada region.
The only disappointment for Bishop was that there will be a delay in the process so that authorization will not occur in July, as previously anticipated, but next fall.
Midland is in the second year of its IB Primary Years Programme - the only one in District 11. The program focuses on developing students who take what the IBO terms an “inquiry approach to learning.”
