Letter: Coronado robotics teams wins Utah regional

Hi - quick note to let you know Coronado Team 2996 Cougars Gone Wired robotics won the March 13-15 Utah Regional FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) and the prestigious Chairman's Award! Bryce McLean, their faculty advisor, and the kids are beyond amazing.
They will compete in Denver in another regional April 3-5, but have a lock on competing in the national competition in St. Louis. I appreciate all the news you provide, love your paper and all the support you give our community and especially our Westside schools.
Oh by the way, band director Alan Combs and his Coronado Wind Ensemble will perform at Carnegie Hall on March 24! They were there for the first time in March of 2012. We are blessed by this school and the wonderful teachers! Thanks!
