Volunteer help at Silver Key needed in 3 areas
Volunteers are needed in three areas of the Silver Key Senior Services organization.
These are transportation (drivers), clerical (phones and scheduling) and retail (to help staff the recently reopened Silver and Such boutique).
“We have seen a steady decline in the number of volunteer applications over the last six weeks and an increase in need for services from members of the community,” said Lorri Orwig, Silver Key's volunteer resource director. “As a result, we have fewer volunteers to fill the many openings we consistently have.”.
The Westside-based non-profit agency provides a range of services to help seniors in the metro area continue to live independently.
