Traffic study at Mesa Springs meeting

       An ongoing traffic study for Fillmore Street and areas around it will be discussed at a meeting of the Mesa Springs Community Association Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Mercy Center, 1440 N. Cooper St.
       Attending the meeting will be Tim Roberts of City Transportation Planning and a city traffic consultant, Paz deAraujo.

       A program Thursday, Feb. 18 at Coronado High School, 1590 W. Filllmore St., will focus on teen drug use.
       Titled an “Intention Prevention Town Hall,” the program from 6 to 7:30 p.m. will include interface opportunities with such organizations as the El Paso County PTA (the host group), the Colorado Springs Police Department, the Chamber of Commerce and Conspire (a local business that provides background checks as well as drug screening for employers).
       The event is free and open to the public.
