Opening Feb. 2 for music-themed art show at Old Colorado City gallery

Artwork with musical themes, painted by Liese and Kris Chavez, will be presented at the Chavez Gallery, 2524 1/2 W Colorado Ave., through February.
Called the “Orchestra of Oddities,” the show will be celebrated with an opening Friday, Feb. 2 from 5 to 9 p.m., featuring live music by Valerie and the Gypsy Djam (a jazz trio), at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, a press release states.
The release also includes this couplet:
“A horn for the ear, a flower that sings,
All manner of magical, musical things!”
