Garden Visitor Center lecture series begins at Garden
A talk titled “Travel Log: National Parks of the Canadian Rockies” will kick off a lecture series at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center Sunday, Jan. 27
from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Kent Taylor, a photographer, tour guide and park interpreter, will focus on the Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Kootenay & Waterton Lakes National Parks.
The event is free (although donations are welcome) and open to the public, with no reservations required. The center is at 1805 N. 30th St.
Other presentations in the series will follow on successive Sundays through March 2. The topics will include rock-climbing, Garden of the Gods erosion control, Garden of the Gods park management and fire prevention and information about the Continental Divide Trail.
