CSPD offers monthly citizen classes at Gold Hill Station; 1st is Jan. 26

       With the first one scheduled Thursday, Jan. 26, the Colorado Springs Police Department is holding citizen classes/presentations monthly through November at its Gold Hill Station, 955 W. Moreno Ave.
       Free and open to the public, all the sessions start at 6 p.m.
       The classes are particularly geared for citizens involved in Neighborhood Watch programs, but anyone can attend and no reservations are required.
       Here is the schedule:
       · Thursday, Jan. 26 - Neighborhood Watch Captain Training.
       · Wednesday, Feb. 15 - Senior Safety.
       · Friday, March 10 - Code Enforcement.
       · Wednesday, April 19 - Travel Safety.
       · Monday, May 22 - ID Theft Prevention.
       · Friday, June 16 - Home Safety.
       · Wednesday, Sept. 20 - Personal Safety.
       · Thursday, Oct. 26 - CSPD Training Academy.
       · Wednesday, Nov. 15 - TBD.
